While I cannot hold a date without a deposit and completed contract, you are welcome to schedule a makeup trial prior to booking.
Wedding dates are still considered available to others to book until deposit and contract have been received.

Makeup is not a one-size-fits-all stamp. All looks are adapted to fit your comfort level, your skin type, skin tone and your eye shape.
At your makeup trial appointment, we will determine your likes and dislikes, look at photos and discuss preferences to make sure we are on the same page.
You can wear as much, or as little makeup as you’d like and I'm not here to talk you into anything. My goal is to create your wedding look with you.
I can tell you what I recommend in my professional experience, but we are ultimately creating a look together.

I use a wide variety of brands. You may be familiar with some like Makeup by Mario and Hourglass.
I also love tried-and-true industry standards like RCMA, and Viseart .
As of March 2024, my own brand, Portrait Beauty, also has quite the presence in my kit.
Most importantly, I only use cruelty-free brands that do not test on animals.

You will be asked to complete an allergy waiver where you will indicate what ingredients you are sensitive to. Examples of this would be latex, gluten, red dye, etc.
I am happy to use a specific lip product or mascara, but will need to use the professional products from my kit beyond that. I know how they wear and photograph and that I can create a beautiful look with these tools.
If you or a bridal party member has had previous reactions, but cannot pinpoint specific ingredients, it is best to not partake in makeup services to mitigate the risk.

45-60 minutes on average.
A timeline will be sent for review and approval. This is to ensure we complete all applications by the contracted time.m description -
Deposits are non-refundable so I recommend only booking for the confirmed applications.
Refunds are not available on individuals that opt out of makeup after the contract has been signed. However, others may take their place.
If you need to add individuals, you may do so up to 4 weeks prior. After that, the timeline is set to ensure the makeup timeline aligns with all other vendors' that day.
You will receive automated reminders to update me if your number of applications has changed.

Beyond 6 persons, a 2nd artist is required.
This expedites the getting ready process, making it a stress free experience that doesn’t require anyone to get up any earlier than they want to!
A 3rd artist is often necessary for parties of 10+ or to accommodate early finish times.

I am good with makeup first or second. Some hair styles may require curling and pinning, letting set in makeup then returning to the stylist to finish.
-
I sure can! I’d love to send you a referral list for the best hair stylists, spray tan artists, estheticians, cake bakers, florists, etc!
